Our NGO runs several other important and notable initiatives that help support and uplift those in need. Each program is designed to provide immediate relief, comfort, and joy to individuals, especially children, facing hardship.

Here are some of the key initiatives and distributions that make a significant impact:

• Flood Relief: During the devastating floods that hit Delhi in 2024, we sprang into action to support those affected. We distributed essential supplies such as clean drinking water, food, and medicines to flood victims. Many children had lost their books and school materials in the floodwaters, so we provided them with new textbooks, stationery, and other educational supplies to ensure they could continue their studies despite the tragedy

• Cupcake Counter: Celebrations are an important part of bringing joy and creating happy memories, especially for children. Our Cupcake Counter is a pop-up event we set up whenever we want to celebrate something special with the children in our community. Each child is given the opportunity to choose their own icing color and sprinkles for their cupcake, allowing them to be creative and enjoy a little treat. It’s a fun, festive moment that brings smiles to their faces and gives them a chance to feel special.

• Candy Counter: After the success of the Cupcake Counter, we introduced the Candy Counter, which became an instant hit with the children. At this counter, kids can choose from a variety of candies to fill a 100-gram packet. Many of these children have never experienced the joy of having sweets like this before, and the candy counter gives them the chance to indulge in something they otherwise wouldn't have access to. It’s a simple pleasure that brings immense joy to the children and allows them to experience something new and exciting.

• Gamcha Distribution: For the elderly members of our community, we distribute Gamchas (traditional cloth towels) to provide comfort and utility. These are particularly useful for elderly individuals during hot weather or while traveling, offering them a way to stay comfortable and dry. The Gamchas are a practical and thoughtful way to assist the elderly, especially those who may not have access to such simple comforts.

• Birthday Celebration for Sick Children: Every child deserves to feel loved and celebrated, especially on their birthday. For the sick children in our community, we throw a special birthday celebration where they experience the joy of a party, complete with a cake, gifts, and a sense of belonging. These celebrations create lasting memories for the children and bring joy not only to them but also to their families and our entire community. It’s a moment of happiness in the midst of difficult times.

• Pillow Distribution: We know that comfort is essential, especially for those who spend long hours on the streets or in hospitals. As part of our efforts to improve the quality of life for those in need, we distribute pillows to individuals sleeping on the footpaths or traveling to and from hospitals. These pillows help provide much-needed comfort and support, enabling them to rest better during difficult times.

• Fulfill a Wish Initiative: One of our most beloved initiatives, Fulfill a Wish, is held annually, and it’s all about making a child’s dream come true. Every sick child in our community gets the chance to ask for any gift they desire, and we make it happen. Whether it’s a toy, educational material, or something close to their heart, this initiative brings immense joy to children who are battling illness and hardship. It’s a way for them to experience a sense of happiness, wonder, and hope, knowing that their wishes can come true, even in the most challenging circumstances.
